Paese – beauty lipgloss in shade 02 sultry – worth €10. The lipgloss is enriched with meadowfoam oil and thanks to that it has moisturizing and nourishing properties. Besides that it is not sticky and comfortable to wear.

How do you like this box? In my opinion it’s really good! The eyeshadow palette looks really cool and the colors are perfect for a daily make up.

Moroccan Oil hair treatment

Thanks to We are Eves I could test out this Moroccan Oil hair treatment.

I have thick and long hair which is very prone to breakage and damage. That is why I am always looking for caring and protective products.

Moroccan Oil treatment

The Moroccan Oil treatment contains precious argan oil (argania spinosa kernel oil) and the linseed (linum usitatissimum) seed extract. These ingredients have well-known hair nourishing properties.

I can say that I am impressed by this product. I am using a pea-sized amount on towel-dried hair and I have noticed that the Moroccan Oil treatment protects my hair very well and makes it extra soft without weighing it down.

Also, it gives my hair extra shine. I love the unique formula – the treatment is not greasy at all. Oh and it smells so good!

Overall it is a very pleasant hair serum. It feels very luxurious and makes my hair manageable.

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule

Thanks to the Go Picky giveaway I could test out this Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule.

The ampoule is infused with 100% Centella Asiatica extract from Madagascar. The ampoule is supposed to repair damaged skin, moisturize, soothe and strengthen the skin barrier.

I have used a lot of products with Centella Asiatica before. None of them has such a high concentration of the Centella though. That is why I was extremely curious about this product.

The ampoule is very lightweight and doesn’t have any scent. It absorbs into the skin almost immediately and cooperates with other products so there is no problem with layering. After few weeks of using it, I have noticed that my skin is calm and much more moisturized. Any inflammations or redness are reduced to a minimum.

Overall I think that it is a good soothing product. The ampoule is suitable for very sensitive and irritated skin.

If that one is too expensive for you then I have found some cheaper alternatives.

The first one is the Revuele Centella cream. I can not find how many % of Centella is at the ingredients list but the price € 9.99 is pretty decent.

Second alternative is the Purito Unscented Centella serum. With 49% of Centella extract it is worth to give it a try.

Gentl Woman Intimate Care aftershave cream

Thanks to Viviane from Gentl Woman I could test out their Intimate Care aftershave cream. The cream was created with a special “3C” formula which stands for caring, cooling, and comforting.

I would recommend trying the Gentl Woman Intimate Care aftershave cream if you have an issue with getting razor bumps or irritated skin after shaving. It has a really nice texture, is not sticky and feels very refreshing on the skin.

It is very moisturizing (thanks to the shea butter) and soothes any shaving irritations or any skin rash in the bikini area almost immediately. Also, it has a delicate pleasant scent.

NIVEA Hyaluron Cellular Filler 3 in 1 Care cushion

Some time ago I’ve bought this NIVEA Hyaluron Cellular Filler 3 in 1 Care cushion in shade 01 Light. The regular price is €30!!! but I’ve didn’t felt like paying that much for a Nivea product so I’ve found it online for half of that price.

I am always following the latest makeup trends and I feel like the cushion foundations are not that popular in Europe – or at least here in the Netherlands. Besides this Nivea one, I haven’t seen any cushions here at major drugstores such as Etos or Kruidvat. Looking at the popular makeup brands counters you can find only liquid foundations and some powders, that’s all. As far as I remember there was once a L’Oreal cushion available but I think it may be discontinued as I haven’t seen that one for a long time. If you are interested in cushion type of foundations you have to look at online K-beauty stores. Besides that, there is, unfortunately, no hype. Let me know if I am wrong or missing something out as I would love to try out more cushion foundations.

Nivea 3 in 1 hyaluron cellular filler cushion swatch

NIVEA Hyaluron Cellular Filler 3 in 1 Care cushion – shade and texture

Inside the package, we can find 15g of the product. The foundation has a very lightweight texture and it has, I would say, light coverage. It evens out the skin tone and looks natural on the skin. It’s very moisturizing.

I have the shade 01 Light and it has yellow undertones. If you look at the swatch picture it may seem dark but applied on the face it looks good and does not oxidize. Oh, and the foundation has the SPF15.

Overall I think that the NIVEA Hyaluron Cellular Filler 3 in 1 Care cushion is an OK product. Maybe it’s not spectacular but it does what it has to do. If you are looking for a lightweight foundation with just light coverage it would be a good choice.

Tip for fellow Dutchies: it’s often 1+1 gratis or 2nd product half price at Kruidvat or Etos. I’ve bought mine at Zalando Beauty for €15.95.

I’ve wanted to try something from Facetheory for a long time so some time ago I’ve ordered a few things from their shop including this Ocuwake Eye cream.

Ocuwake eye cream – my opinion

Because of all the hype around Facetheory cosmetics, I was expecting a spectacular product. I am a little bit disappointed because the Ocuwake eye cream feels very basic. I mean it works well, it makes the eye area moisturized and nourished. Besides that, it absorbs quickly so it’s perfect when you are looking for an eye cream that you can wear under makeup. It is not sticky and has a pleasant texture.

I was using the Facetheory Ocuwake eye cream every day for more than two months already and unfortunately, I haven’t noticed any brightening or depuffing effects. That’s why I am disappointed because after looking at the ingredients list, reading the Facetheory product description and reviews on their site you can expect some spectacular results.

I am not saying that it is a bad product. It’s a very pleasant daily eye cream and the packaging is huge, inside the tube we can find 30ml!!! of the cream. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the hype.

I can recommend this eye cream if you are looking for an lightweight cream that smooths the skin, hydrates and absorbs quickly. If you are looking for depuffing or dark circles reducing products then I’d go for another product.

Hair vitamin gummies are very popular these days. The cute bear gummy is more attractive than the regular boring pill. I’ve almost finished my 3rd jar of the Lucovitaal hair vitamines so it’s time for the review!

⚠️ This is a nutritional (dietary) supplement. Most dietary supplements contain a lot of active ingredients such as vitamins, herbs, and minerals that could have an impact on your mind, body, and health. Please consult the professional (pharmacist or doctor) beforehand. Vitamins should be just an add on to a healthy diet and lifestyle.

The Lucovitaal hair vitamins contain per daily dose: 5,2 mg of Pantothenic acid (87% of recommended daily dose), 5000mcg of Biotin which equals 10.000% of recommended daily dose, and 6 mcg of Vitamine B12 which counts as 240% of recommended daily dose.

There’s a lot more vitamins and minerals inside but I’ve highlighted Pantothenic acid, Biotin, and Vit. B12 because these are important for having strong, healthy hair.

Lucovitaal hair vitamin gummies – ingredients

⚠️ Too much Biotin can cause a breakout or excessive sebum production. Keep that in mind. Biotin is water-soluble so any excess is going to be flushed out with urine so overdose is not possible. Still, be responsible when taking any supplements.

The one jar of gummies contains 60 bears. The recommended daily dose of hair gummies is two per day. So one jar should be enough for one month. Now I am taking one gummy bear daily and that’s perfectly OK for me.

Effects and results

I’ve started to take two gummies per day and noticed the first results after three weeks (21 days). I was very enthusiastic and that helped with taking the vitamins regularly.

The first what I’ve noticed was that my nails became harder and were growing faster.

Around the end of week four, I have noticed less hair loss. The results are even better in combination with a scalp massage.

Weeks 6-7 surprised me with a lot of baby hairs. I think that the vitamines needs that much time to build up in the system.

In week 10 I have noticed that my hair is growing thicker than before. Also, hair loss is reduced to a minimum. That is the week when I am reducing my daily dosage from two gummies to one per day. Consistency is key in that matter. Remember that!

Overall I like these gummies. The gummy bears are tasty, not too sweet, and are vegan (the gummy is made out of pectin). The results are quite fast if you are systematic.
