Imagine sitting in a garden with jasmine flowers all around. It was a long, sunny day and now it is close to the evening. You are just chilling and you are enjoying it. You have a basket full of crisp green apples in front of you. Take one and cut it into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla sugar on top.

That’s how JOOP! All About Eve smells like. It is a very joyful scent with a little bit of temptation and mystery in it. I would recommend it to everyone who likes green notes and fresh fruity scents.

The longevity on my skin is great (around 8h). It is marketed as a feminine fragrance but I think that it is gender-neutral. Also, it has a beautiful bottle. The cute little apple-shaped flacon is an eye-catcher.

The Cacharel Lou Lou was created in 1987 by Jean Guichard. For me it is a bold, sexy scent with a lot of character. Mysterious and flirty. It has a sharp opening, I can smell incense, sandalwood, mimosa and Tiare flower. After some time the plum, musk, cinnamon and anise appear. At the end of the day the scent is still rich and present on my skin.

People may say that it is too much and that it is an old women’s scent but I do not agree – and honestly – I do not care. I just simply love Lou Lou. It is warm, sophisticated and sensual. Provoking and playful. I always feel a boost of confidence while wearing this scent.

Not so long ago I’ve bought this Therme Mystic Rose eau de parfum. The price at the moment was just €7.50 (the normal price is €15) so I’ve decided to give it a try!

According to Therme the Mystic Rose perfume notes are: rose, cacao and sweet lychee.

Mystic Rose

I think that it is a very pleasant scent. It’s a bit mysterious, almost sensual (I think that it is because of the cacao – it gives a bit of spice) with playful rose and sweet lychee notes. This scent is not obvious, I was not expecting that looking at the price tag.

Another surprise is that this eau de parfum is very long-lasting on my skin. Applied in the morning I can still smell it 8-10 hours later.

The Modern Muse according to Estèe Lauder symbolizes what it means to be an independent and self-confident woman today. The scent is created by well-known perfumer Harry Fremont. ⠀

For me, The Modern Muse was a blind buy. To be honest, at first, I didn’t like it. The first sniff gave me a huge headache. It was too sharp and I’ve dismissed it for a while. ⠀

After a few weeks, I’ve decided to try it out again – oh my god, it was completely different than it was when I’ve tried it for the first time. 
 

Estèe Lauder Modern Muse eau de parfum notes, longevity and sillage


In my opinion, it is an ultra sexy and feminine floral scent. Classy, beautiful, charming. Very elegant and suitable for every day as it is not offensive. I can smell jasmine, lilies, floral bouquets mixed with patchouli and musk. ⠀
 
The Modern Muse is very long-lasting. On my skin, I can smell it all day. ⠀

Overall I like it but I do not think that I’d repurchase. It is a nice, lovely, clean scent with depth and layers but I do not think that it suits me completely. I love the Jasmine and musk notes but I am looking for something with more “spice”. ⠀
