Imagine sitting in a garden with jasmine flowers all around. It was a long, sunny day and now it is close to the evening. You are just chilling and you are enjoying it. You have a basket full of crisp green apples in front of you. Take one and cut it into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla sugar on top.

That’s how JOOP! All About Eve smells like. It is a very joyful scent with a little bit of temptation and mystery in it. I would recommend it to everyone who likes green notes and fresh fruity scents.

The longevity on my skin is great (around 8h). It is marketed as a feminine fragrance but I think that it is gender-neutral. Also, it has a beautiful bottle. The cute little apple-shaped flacon is an eye-catcher.

I am happy that this toner is a part of my skincare routine. It’s easy to use and absorbs immediately into the skin. It makes my face smooth, well-nourished and dewy. Used in combination with the oil and cream from the same Let’s Carrot 🥕 line gives a nice glass skin look.

It can be used during the day as a refreshing mist (it does not leave any sticky or unpleasant residue) or as a toner mask in case of dry, irritated spots.

About the Benton Let’s Carrot moisture cream + my experience



The cream has a very lightweight texture. It absorbs into the skin immediately without any sticky residue. I’d say that it is a pleasant cream that can be used as a part of AM and PM routine as well. Right after use, my skin is well moisturized, calm and smooth. Thanks to the beta carotene the cream improve the skin tone. 


I was using it in combination with the toner from the same line. Review of toner is coming soon so stay tuned.

Overall I recommend this cream. As I’ve said it’s lightweight and pleasantly nourishing, suitable for all skin types.

Scholl Expert Care – Pedi mask – moisturizing socks

Recently I’ve picked up the moisturizing socks by Scholl at my local Kruidvat. On the packaging Scholl promises that after 20 minutes our feet are going to be soft and nourished – that sounds interesting.
I always have a problem with dry, sore, tired skin on my feet. Of course, nothing compares to a good pedicure with proper callus removal but I do not always have time for that.

⚠️ These are moisturizing socks, not exfoliating socks. There are no chunks of skin flaking off after use.⠀

The formula is enriched with a lot of good stuff. High on the ingredients list we can find glycerine, urea, shea butter, macadamia oil, allantoin, panthenol and coconut oil.  The socks are designed with the Hydro’restore technology – the sock is lined with a double-layered mesh which distributes the cream serum evenly on feet without the mess.

The socks are really easy to apply. These are tight and not slippery at all yet I do not recommend walking around with these socks on.⠀
 
I like the results after use. I feel that the formula penetrates deep into the skin. It leaves my feet well moisturized, nourished, soft and relaxed. Perfect for a little spa moment.⠀

Overall I do recommend the Scholl Pedi-mask moisturizing socks. These are perfect if you are looking for a quick fix for your feet with a long-lasting effect.⠀

For even better results I would advise you to scrub the feet before applying socks (the effect is even more satisfying then).⠀

I could test out this Jumiso All-day Vitamin Nourishing and Recharging wash-off mask, thanks to the Style Korean x Jumiso Try me Review me event.

Today I am going to tell you more about the ingredients and what do I think about this one.

This All-day Vitamin Nourishing and Recharging wash-off mask is supposed not only to protect the skin barrier, but also thanks to the niacinamide and lemon peel powder it has exfoliating and brightening properties.

  • Multi 15 Vitamin complex
  • Chlorella Vulgaris extract
  • Melia Azadirachta flower extract
  • Citrus limon peel powder
  • Curcuma root extract
  • Hippophae rhamnoides extract
  • Orange fruit extract

The mask contains fresh lemon peel parts. Because of that, the color of the product may slightly change over time.

Nourishing and Recharging wash-off mask review

First of all, the mask has such a juicy, yummy scent, I love it. The texture is also very pleasant – jelly (not sticky) and easy to wash off.

Overall I like this mask. It is easy to use and gives instant effects. Thanks to the turmeric root, orange fruit extract and lemon peel it gives the skin a glow boost immediately!

Right after washing the mask off my face has a nice, healthy glow. My skin is supple, fresh and bright. I really recommend this mask if your skin lacks glow and radiance.

I have not experienced any burning or tingling sensation. Please be aware that it can happen as the mask contains ingredients such as Niacinamide, lemon, Curcuma, etc.

Jumiso All-day Vitamin wash-off mask – my conclusion

I’ve enjoyed incorporating Jumiso’s all-day vitamin line into my skincare routine. I can say that all products work incredibly well for me.  The design, ingredients, brand philosophy, and most importantly results are appealing to me.

Jumiso all day brightening and balancing serum my opinion


This serum has a non-sticky, watery, gel-ish like running texture. It absorbs almost immediately into the skin!

The results are really pleasant. Right after use, I feel that my face is hydrated, refreshed and more radiant. It is a quick fix when my skin needs a little pick me up at the moment.

The long time results are impressive too: I have noticed that my complexion looks brighter, the hyperpigmentation spots are fading and my skin tone is less dull and more even.

The serum layers very well with other products and as it is very lightweight it can be used during the AM (do not forget to apply the sunscreen!!) and PM routine as well.

Overall, yes! I recommend this one if you are looking for an affordable, not expensive, multifunctional serum that can help you battle hyperpigmentation or acne scars.

The shaving experience is really pleasant. As I have mentioned, the razor glides very smoothly on the skin not causing any sore feeling or burns or rashes. All the sensitive areas such as bikini line etc could be shaved just with one stroke!

Today I’d like to share with you my thoughts about this Jumiso All-day Vitamin clean and mild facial cleanser. More Jumiso reviews are coming soon so stay tuned.

The key ingredients of the cleanser are:
  • Chlorhexidine
  • Coptis Japonica (goldthread) root extract
  • Hippophae Rhamnoides (sea buckthorn, called the “vitamin tree”) extract
  • Citrus paradisi (grapefruit) peel oil
  • Salicyl acid
  • Ascorbic acid



The pH level of the cleanser, as Jumiso promises is low – 5.5 to 6.5.

My opinion about the Jumiso All-day Vitamin clean and mild facial cleanser



First of all, I love the scent of this cleanser! It smells like freshly squeezed citrus juice. It’s not a generic scent, it is very natural in my opinion (I think that the grapefruit peel oil is responsible for that). It may be a bit overpowering so keep that in mind if you are a scent sensitive person.


The cleanser has a very pleasant light gel texture and foams up very gently. It removes any daily, lightweight makeup very effectively. It is perfect as a second step in double-cleansing.


The cleanser has antibacterial and antifungal properties thanks to Chlorhexidine and Salicylic acid. These ingredients are crucial if you have acne-prone skin.


What I like the most about this Jumiso cleanser is that it does not sting or dry out my face. I have noticed that it leaves my skin fresh, extra smooth, radiant and it brightens up my complexion a bit with every use.

Minus points of the Jumiso All-day Vitamin clean and mild facial cleanser

I would not recommend using it around the eyes. It makes my eyes a little bit red (I think that it is because of the Chlorhexidine, salicylic acid, and grapefruit peel) so I am keeping it away from that area. Also, it contains Cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) –  amphoteric synthetic detergent associated with irritation and allergic contact dermatitis. I know that a lot of people suffer from allergies because of that ingredient so I think that it is worth mentioning. Besides that, I have not noticed any other minus points!


Overall, I can say that I like it. It is a very pleasant cleanser. It is gentle for my skin and does what it has to do.

Najel – Prickly pear seed oil

The prickly pear oil (known as cactus seed oil, Opuntia ficus indica, or the barbary fig) is one of the most precious oils in the world. The oil is pressed right out the seeds of the opuntia – a cactus fruit. These seeds are very dry and contain just around 5% of oil each. Because of that, it needs a lot of work to press and extract the oil out of them. For example, the 460 kilograms of seeds make just 1 litre of oil.

The cactus 🌵  (opuntia ficus indica) is a type of plant that can survive in a hot dry climate (it grows in the desert) without a lot of water – thanks to that the prickly pear oil has skin barrier protection and renewal properties.

The prickly pear seed oil contains a high concentration of vitamins, such as vitamin E (tocopherol, a natural antioxidant that fights free radicals), vitamin K, and vitamin A. The oil is full of essential fatty acids, amino acids, and Omega 6 and 9 as well. The oil is non-comedogenic.

My opinion about the Najel prickly pear seed oil


There are many manufacturers of prickly pear seed oil. Currently, I have the oil made by Najel and I am really happy with this one.  It retails for €24.85/80ml.

I am using this oil as the last step of my PM skincare as an occlusive to seal and lock all the ingredients and moisture into my skin.

I like that this particular oil is not greasy and is very lightweight yet it is very rich. It does not leave any unpleasant residue. Few drops are enough to pat it all over my face.

I feel that the prickly pear oil makes my routine complete.  It makes my skin glowing, silky smooth, and well-nourished. Also, it can be used on hair, it works wonders when applied overnight!

Australian Bodycare – Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner

Thanks to the Essd for you I could test out the Australian Bodycare Tea Tree hair care line.

Today I’d like to share a few words about the shampoo and conditioner and later I’m going to review the scalp serum so stay tuned.

I have a problematic scalp so I am picky when it comes to shampoo. I have a problem with recurring scalp eczema so the shampoo should be extra gentle.

The Australian Bodycare shampoo thanks to the Tea Tree oil works very soothing and nourishing on my scalp. It lathers well and gently cleans my scalp even though it is based on the SLS. The scalp is properly nourished and itch-free.

The shampoo has a gorgeous Tea tree oil scent so it works almost aromatherapeutic. It contains Sodium Laureth Sulphate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine so if you are sensitive or allergic please pay attention to that.

The Tea Tree conditioner is such a good one!

It contains shea butter ethyl ester – an emollient responsible for moisturizing, hydrolyzed wheat protein which has hair strengthening properties, panthenol and allantoin are here for hair softening purposes and last but not least the Tasmannia Lanceolata fruit extract and Tea Tree leaf oil cares for antimicrobial and antibacterial function. 
 
My hair is soft, manageable, and tangles free after each use. The conditioner is very lightweight and doesn’t weigh the hair down. I think that this conditioner is a good addition to the shampoo.

Overall I am pleasantly surprised with the Australian Bodycare shampoo and conditioner. Both products work well for my hair and scalp as well.
