Coty – Airspun face powder

Coty Airspun

More than a year ago I’ve heard about the Coty Airspun powder and immediately decided to give it a try. It wasn’t easy to get that one because it was sold out everywhere (especially shade translucent which I’ve got). The hype was that big at the time.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much of the product is in the packaging. The jar contains 65g of powder! Speaking about packaging – personally, I think that it is very cute, it has a vintage vibe in it.

The powder itself has a soft and lightweight texture. That’s thanks to the exclusive Microspun formula where “the powder particles are spun and swirled until the powder reach a cloud-like softness”.

The Coty Airspun powder could be used not only to set up the makeup but also as a foundation. From time to time I like to use it in that way too, the coverage is I’d say medium and the effect is very natural.

I love the results the Airspun powder gives. It sets up my foundation and concealer without making it looking heavy or cakey. I have an oily T zone so it is important for me that the powder keeps the sebum under control. The Airspun powder does that. My make-up is looking flawless and fresh for a whole day.

Only one minus point may be a strong scent that the powder has. It is not a problem for me but I think that it may be very overpowering for sensitive people.

Price and availability

Availability: mostly online. I’ve bought mine at Boozyshop (not sponsored).

Price: I’ve paid for mine €14.95 excluding shipping. I think that this is a very good price considering how much of the product is in the packaging.

While doing my research on google I’ve noticed that prices in the USA vary between $5.68 to $9.99 so there it is even more affordable.

Is it worth all the hype? Definitely yes! It matches all my expectations and it is always a pleasure when I am using it.

Have you ever tried the Airspun powder? Let me know!
