UC Natural – Pure Shea butter
Few months ago I won @beautybyniky_ giveaway on Instagram (big thanks!) and I could test out a bunch of UC Natural stuff. UC Natural is an organic brand with handmade cosmetics. I love the luxurious look of all the products.
Few facts about shea butter
- the shea (karite) butter is derived from nuts growing on the African native Vitellaria paradoxa tree
- shea butter is rich in fatty and phenolic acids and contains vitamins A, E and F
- the shea butter is well known for being multifunctional and has a lot of amazing benefits for hair and skin as well

My hair loves it! I am applying a small amount of butter overnight on my hair ends and length – right after washing my hair is soooo shiny and silky soft! I think that curly hair would love it! (Tip: it’s better to wash it off first with a conditioner – emulsify and rinse – then use a shampoo).
Body: I have a huge problem with stretch marks and dry skin on my belly area. The pure shea butter works well in that matter, makes my skin supple and – what’s the most important – reduces the stretch marks appearance and improves the skin elasticity. I like to apply the butter on my hands and feet as well as it makes them soft immediately!
Also, I like to use it on my face as the last step of my PM routine. It seals all of the moisture so all the products work more effectively. It works soothing when I have a rosacea or eczema flare-ups.
The shea butter comes in handy in the summertime as it heals any sunburn, mosquito bites, rashes, cuts, and itchy skin within seconds.
Overall I am very enthusiastic about the UC Natural pure shea butter.
The 130g jar according to the UC Natural website cost €10 which is a splurge considering how efficient and multipurposal the shea butter is.
